Quite (super) busy lately. Will post up the Cameron Highland video and some other event photos and talking about my Taiwan plan as soon as I got less to do soon. (which is less likely in near 2 -- 3 weeks.. =.=) But I got something to share today.

It has been long time since I heard this song. It’s a Hokkien song with loads and loads of emotions and feelings in it. You might not understand a single word in Hokkien dialect but listen to it. I’m sure you will get the feeling somehow.

It’s a song written to parents. A superb talented Malaysian singer, Eric Moo. To my surprise, the song is almost 15-20 years old.

Just watched “This Is It” few days ago. Triggered a lot of my childhood memories when I tried to imitate Michael Jackson dance moves and so on. lol

I will describe that more in a coming post when I go back and retrieve some of the old old photo showing me dressing like “Smooth Criminal” Hahaha…

But now, just want to share with you my most favorite Michael Jackson video. It’s not “Smooth Criminal” (maybe I think too criminal for my childhood), not “Thriller” (maybe too horrifying for my childhood), not “Bad”(too bad for my childhood), not “Black or White” (too racist for my childhood).

It’s “Remember the Time” ! I like it so so much ! The full video is so entertaining with cool magic tricks and storyline. So here it is. Hope it gives you as much memories as I do.

So many things happened. I mean to the world. Financial crisis that crashed the whole world. Singapore also enters retrenchment period. Slow economic growth. First ever black President of USA. blah blah blah…

Remain Silence

I choose to remain silent. Not because I don’t care. I care. I always try to pay attention to those things happened around (especially when they release RPK from ISA retention, the blogger that rocked the “Malaysia government”). It’s because TOO MANY things happened and I simply don’t have the time to write and reply to every stuff that I pay attention to.

Yea…

But I choose to write on American Idol. Yup! Nothing really to do with my country, nor my future. Just to recommend to all of you during these tough time (whether you having examinations or looking for jobs), the latest American Idol David Cook and the runner-up David Archuleta (the double Davids) are going to release their first ever album by next week! They are so good friends and rivals that they release their album one week after each other!!! How good friends they are right??

To make things even more interesting, the albums both uses their own name as title and both released 1 single before that… Hmm…

Just a quick review. On their singles. Cook’s “Light On” is dull. His voice is still great but I think the problem is with the song. On contrast, Archuleta’s “Crush” did really show me a real crush is!! Haha.. First round, Archuleta scores!! Cook you better buttons up!!

Will listen to their full albums and give a short review if I got the time.

Music Videos!

Music video wise, Archuleta’s “Crush” won again with the colors of the video and really relates with the song so well. Cook’s “Light On” just another “Daughtry”-like or rockers-like music video which I got fed up after watching 1 time. Not creative enough! Both got the face but Cook’s too dark in the video while Archuleta got the shine on!! Wakakaka… Also got more girls in his video … hahaha …

So Archuleta earns back his name this time!!

Hey dude… It’s so happened that I like this cover of Umbrella very much!! Share with you all!! Keep playing in my laptop nonstop!! hahaha… The video is hilarious…

Review: What Makes the Video *Success*?

A very touching video. Exactly what I feel for so long. Tired of reading Malaysian news and got fed up everytime with the updated news. I wonder how much time do the politicians need to really understand and stand together for the sake of their so called motherland.

So, it’s 13th November 2007. I have waited for more than 2 months. I bought this concert ticket on 9th September via internet.

Wakaka… crazy huh? Well, you cannot say that because everyone has things that they really passionate about and once they found it they would do anything to achieve it. So Linkin Park is my passion. Long story… I heard their music some time in 2002 and I got addicted. And since then I knew this is the one band I’m gonna love forever. Hahaha… Now okay adi coz last time I even more crazy, talk about sending 123 entries for a single competition just to win their autographed plaque and some CDs… and a 3D-model with their figures and send the BIG BOX to the music company (for a competition also), calling non-stop to HITZ.fm for 2 weeks just to get through the line and get the chance to win complimentary tickets to their concert few years ago. Yea I was really crazy.

I can say that I am me more or less with their influnce. I was more nerdy last time. Haha… Their music shape my life style and personality in a positive way (proven by my close friend, Kenny, he used to be very active in blog but now no more, sad, or else you’ll see very nice post from him, i’m still waiting for him to come back and blog…).

So back to the story.. Surprisingly I still could take a nap few hours before the show because I was xxx too tired that time. Then I got a call and it’s Tze Wei. She said she got a complimentary ticket so we went out together. Haha… The venue was Singapore Indoor Stadium and I didn’t know how to go… I just know it’s far from the map I got. So we just went out lar … haha …

So on the way we talked and talked and we reached at the Kallang MRT station. We were totally lost at one point because we couldn’t locate the bus station with Bus No. 11. Luckily I spotted a guy with the same T-shirt I was wearing and we curi-curi follow him and DENG DENG DENG DENG !! We found the bus stop and we saw some fellow going to the concert too!

We reached the Singapore Indoor stadium sharp sharp at 6pm! OMG my meet and greet will bring people in another 10 minutes so I quickly rushed here and there, after being pointed by some clueless fellow for nothing, at last I managed to get my meet and greet wrist band at 6.10pm and I waited at the admin entrance. I bid farewell to Tze Wei as she would come in later (her complimentary ticket was numbered seating…). So this is it!

 the ‘holy wrist band’ that would bring me to LP very very soon!

So I quickly tagged it on my left wrist and waited and waited and waited … … ZzzzzZzZzzzZZZZzzz … Finally they let us in on 6.50pm. WTF? I thought they wrote 6.10pm on the confirmation letter? Never mind, I’m gonna meet LP so no big deal!!! Haha… my dream in 5 years finally will come true! I was so excited until…

I am so happy. But at first I want to let you see this.

OK, (tats my roomate… he curi curi use my handphone so now i upload his face to sabo him… muahahaha) I even more happy now to tell you why do I sound so happy… i am just back from the Linkin Park concert live in Singapore Indoor Stadium. Other than the passive crowd I felt the concert was PERFECT and ABSOLUTELY A BLAST!!!

So I was lazying around the whole day before the event. Suddenly Tze Wei called and said she’s coming with me coz she got herself a ticket too! OMG… So we spent almost 2 hours talking crap while getting ourselves appear at Singapore Indoor Stadium on time. As a loyal fans (for almost 4 years…) I got myself a Meet and Greet pass FINALLY !! It’s like my dream come true!! Finally I get the chance to meet all 6 of them in person… face to face… no distance at all! So excited!!

 you need the “holy band” the meet them!! haha…

So we waited and our precious 1 hour was wasted to queue up to meet them. Not to say wasted by I believe the organiser could do it better … … So here are the pictures, I didn’t bring my camera there so I was using my camera phone. More detailed photos will be uploaded once I got the pictures from my friend (meeting online.. other LP fans!!) haha… …

Well I can say “BUY THE TICKET!!!” to you … hahaha … i paid SGD150 for the show!! hahaha … no la … juz kidding… I didn’t really take much photos during the show because we can always find the photos from newspaper and websites but if you were wasting time to take photos you will miss the ESSENCE of the concert … … haha … DEEP right? by the way my friend, Tze Wei was sitting at numbered seat… So she managed to get some BIG picture… it’s really BIG… let me show you…

Special comment: I smelled and also accidentally ‘ate’ hairs coz the guy in front of me has very very long hair and he’s nodding his hair at very high RPM… … try to imagine tat… muahaha…
